We are the team GD Vaughan! A group of enthusiast colleagues, family and friends that decided to take part in the Ottawa Race Weekend 2021, which is going virtual for the second year due to the global situation. We are committing to do a 5k or 10k run/walk challenge because maintaining a good physical and mental health is more important than ever. At the same time, we are aiming to give meaning to our effort by helping raise funds for Operation Smile Canada, a volunteer-based global medical charity that provides free surgery to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial differences in children and young adults. 

Please consider joining us in this fundraising effort. While so many are working to flatten the COVID-19 curve in Canada, the cleft curve continues to grow. During this difficult time, Operation Smile is doing surgical programs in certain parts of the world with local volunteers. Operation Smile also cares for the children waiting for surgeries and treatment, constantly evaluating when it will be safe to resume wide-scale medical missions again.

100% of the funds raised will go directly to the charity.
