Notre histoire…

Did you know that the Ottawa Hospital is the largest acute psychiatry provider in Ottawa?  How about that we have almost 100 inpatient psychiatry beds, an eating disorders program, first episode psychosis clinic and mobile crisis team?  Whether in the emergency, on the wards or in the community we are proud to play a vital role in our region's mental health care needs.

We love what we do but we would love to do even better!  We have attracted international specialists and researchers to do practice changing research, right here in Ottawa.


With your donations we will:

Support graduate students in their studies.

Explore practical low risk treatments like blue light glasses for bipolar disorder.

Find out which new moms are most at risk for post partum depression and what we can do about it.

Determine the best ways to keep our first responders in top mental health.

And so much more, for real patients, starting right here in Ottawa.
