My Story…
Many if you know that this will be the first half marathon walk I will have attempted. I started going on longer rolls during the lockdown and found that it was a great excuse to get outside. During my time enjoying summer in Fort Qu’Appelle, I’m sure some of the townspeople were confused to see me going up and down their streets every day lol.
I like that my 1/2 marathon can mean something more than just me by this chance to fundraise for such great charities. Food shortages are so critical right now but literacy is so dear to my heart (and related to my new job!) If you’d like to support either of these organizations, I’d be thankful on their behalf.
Take care and stay well.
