I have recently become a CANCER SURVIVOR! I have, like you, known many people that have battled some form of CANCER. Some won and others sadly did not. I am riding in honor of these people. When I rode in this ride two years ago it was different because I was one of the people that had a form of cancer. It was a surreal experience. Can we agree that all CANCER SUCKS!!!
I didn't do too bad. I placed 35th in my distance category out of 80 or so male riders. I crossed the finish line @ the 2:08:32 mark in the video below. I feel safe in saying that I will not repeat that time again this year. I have not been on a bike for over a year but I have recently started back in order to participate in this very worthy event.
