My Story…

During Covid they have adapted their programming to host informative and engaging webinars on various seasonal topics, all free to register. My housemates and I - team "The Natural Disasters" - are the reigning Riverwood Nature Trivia champs 2 months in a row! In 2018 I ran my first 10 km race in the Mississauga Marathon and raised $300 for The Riverwood Conservancy. Please support my fundraising goal to match or exceed this amount. Special thank you again to everyone who donated then and for their generosity once again!

Description
The Riverwood Conservancy is the charity that provides programs and direction for Riverwood – the 150-acre, urban nature preserve situated on the shores of the Credit River in Mississauga. Working together with like-minded groups and individuals, our mission is to enable people of all cultures, ages, and abilities to respectfully connect with nature and learn about the importance of protecting, conserving and restoring natural spaces for the well-being of future generations – all while experiencing the beauty of the Riverwood gardens.
