My Story…
5 years ago I was diagnosed with both Ulcerative Colitis and Celiac Disease. Since then, I have made it my mission to have tough conversations with as many people as possible about the implications and toll autoimmune diseases take on the human mind, body, and spirit. On Sunday, May 2nd, 2021, I have made it my mission to run a full marathon (26.2 miles), with the hopes of continuing this tough conversation. Every donation counts as one high-five of positive encouragement during this race where I will pour my hard-earned work, sweat, and tears all over this course. Every donation goes directly to Crohn's and Colitis Canada, an organization that invests in ground-breaking research, with the hopes of one day, conquering these debilitating diseases.
