Thanks for your interest and I hope you'll support my 10K walk to support The Riverwood Conservancy (TRC). This is a volunteer and member-based charity providing programs and services focused on environmental education, conservation, gardening, and horticulture. The 150-acre, urban nature preserve is situated on the shores of the Credit River in Mississauga. Working with like-minded groups and individuals, its mission is to enable people of all cultures, ages, and abilities to respectfully connect with nature and learn about the importance of protecting, conserving, and restoring natural spaces for the well-being of future generations. Among its many accomplishments, the high school education program has presented geography, biology, and math curricula and provided retreats in nature to more than 9,000 Peel and Halton students in the last 5 years!
