No one ever plans to need Ronald MacDonald House. We sure didn’t but our family has needed it twice. First in 1996 when Tim and I stayed at the Edmonton house when Brandon had his open heart surgery and just recently when Ryker was born 5+ weeks early in Red Deer. RMH provided a safe haven for us and Austin and Seltic when we needed it most.
it was such a comfort to know that Seltic could stay close to the hospital and not have to worry about making the journey from Carbon or having the expense of a hotel room, not to mention during a pandemic the uncertainty of sit down restaurant meals.
Thank you to all the donors who make RMH such a special place for families to have a semblance of normalcy in uncertain times.
