Raise money for Share, Inc.
Share’s mission is to lead the hungry and homeless to self-sufficiency by providing food, shelter, housing, education, advocacy and compassion through the strength of our community. The support of the community has enabled Share’s programs and services to adapt to the needs of our clients and serve an average of 10,000 people annually. In 1979, Share began when a small group of caring people came together to offer bagged lunches to those living on the streets. In 1985, a tinder boarding house was purchased to become Share House, the first and only men’s emergency shelter in Clark County. Today, Share also provides emergency shelters for women and families, rapid re-housing programs, permanent supportive housing, a robust outreach program, and hunger response programs that serve up to 5,000 people each year through hot meals and supplemental food supplies.
