My Story…
Hey everyone! This year instead of supporting Komen I will be running a 10K for the Girlfriends Run for a Cure thru WHY Racing. I actually did this race in 2019 with my cancer bff. All survivors got tiaras and a sash. 😍 Though this year the race is a bit different because WHY Racing has given 25 free registrations to Breast Friends (which is the organization I volunteer for) and 100% of funds that I raise goes directly to Breast Friends! This is amazing and much needed for women of the Portland metro area going thru treatment and those well beyond treatment (in my case).
As you know, Breast Friends is a huge part of my breast cancer journey and my life; they provide support groups, lectures from experts and doctors, and my favorite, fun adventures, with young women who get me!
Please consider supporting me and/or joining me for this race (walking or running) that is so dear to my heart and for an organization that I love!
