Help us raise money

For participating in PSP WINTER CHALLENGE 2021

Our story…

All welcome to come aboard and join the team!

Our team is based out of CFB Borden, ON.

We fight alongside all of our CAF brothers and sisters, both past and present service, to help combat the daily struggles mentally and physically that are endured in the profession of arms and the sacrifices they have made for us all. These men and women "Silently Suffer" day in and out to fight to have any kind of a normal life or return to one. With mental health we can not often perceive the immense difficulties to function in society that our brothers and sisters have to go through. Physically, being able to adapt to new and different ways of getting around is challenging and the road to recovery is a long one, if you're equipped well enough from the beginning.

This is our opportunity to "Silently Suffer" physically and mentally through dedication and fitness for them and all they have done and given for us and our future.

Description

This year, PSP presents the first inaugural Winter Physical Activity Challenge. We would like to invite the CAF community to come together to get outside (or stay inside) and be active with their loved ones. By doing this virtually, we are able to be active together at home while supporting the ill/ injured CAF community as they, despite adversity, adapt, overcome, and Soldier On.

Soldier On is the most direct way for Canadians to contribute to supporting the recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration of members with a physical and/or mental illness or injury through the transformative power of sport, recreation and creative activity.

You will assist:

  1. Soldier On members, who are dealing with life-altering illness and injury, in attending sport, recreation and creative activity camps to help them find new ways that they can be active in their daily lives while building a community of understanding and comradery.
  2. In providing equipment grants for participants to purchase a piece of equipment that will help them engage in and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

Last year, with help like yours, 1027 members have joined the Soldier On family and are adapting, overcoming, and Soldiering On.
