My Story…
This is my first half marathon but it certainly will not be my last! Thank you so much for supporting me through this goal.
Please donate to whatever fundraising organization you feel most passionate about. I decided to give to the Canadian Mental Health Association because mental health is one of the many reasons I run. I was going through a tough time when I started to run and my first goal was 5k without stopping. I've had many ups and downs since then (lol 2020) and running has provided a space for me to work through it while getting stronger day by day.
I am inspired daily by my friends and family who suffer from mental health issues and I am passionate about ending the stigma against mental health! We are all deserving and worthy of the world.
Thank you for all the support! Whether that be in the form of a donation or kind words or both, I will be thinking of my incredible community when I hit the pavement.
Update! I have doubled my fundraising goal! I was blown away by the generosity of my family and friends <3 I posted my fundraising page one week ago and reached $500! I have one week to go to the race, I will be running on Tuesday March 4th. I appreciate any and all support to meet my new goal!
