Aloha! I've been involved with Hot Pursuit since 2017 as a member of the Navian Hawaii marketing team and have had the pleasure of seeing it grow and adapt with new ideas and technology. Starting in 2019 I took on the challenge of spearheading the fundraising event and launched a brand new QR code system to replace the paper passport system. In 2020, we were challenged to convert Hot Pursuit into a virtual format. We are once again hosting a virtual race in 2021 but with more fun and creative passport challenges that can be completed anytime and anywhere!

Originally established in 1979 as Hospice Hawaii, Navian Hawaii works to provide care for every life journey. In line with its mission to bring hope, reduce fears, and impact lives, Navian Hawaii provides specialized care, expert guidance and heartfelt emotional support, helping patients and their families find stability and assurance during times of uncertainty. Although most private health insurance plans cover the cost of hospice and integrated care, some patients are uninsured or underinsured. No one who is eligible for hospice care is turned away. There are also additional services on top of what is covered by insurance such as the specialized pediatric program, family grief counseling, and complementary therapies.
