WHAT A MONTH IT HAS BEEN! We wrap up our first month-long 2021 Virtual Dash for Down Syndrome 5K Today! 324 participants from 5 different countries and 27 states traveled 5,320 miles this month! CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED IN OUR MOVEMENT FOR ACCEPTANCE AND INCLUSION! It's amazing what we accomplished together - even from a distance! THANK YOU to our event sponsors for their generous support! |
All participants receive a custom
2021 Dash for Down Syndrome shirt. First 250 registrants receive a medal.
Covid affects people around the world. So does Down syndrome. That's why Covid won't stop us from celebrating! Join us for a VIRTUAL 5K celebrating World Down Syndrome Day and supporting the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte.

Dash your way anytime during the month of March! You'll upload your run/walk on our official Virtual Results page and can view what others are doing too! Scroll down for some great prizes!
Awards and Prizes
a. Weekly drawing for a $50 gift card for any 5K racers who have posted their times in that week – 4 total (March 10, 17, 24, April 1)
b. One drawing for a $100 gift card for any participants that successfully completed the 32.1 challenge – on April 1
c. One drawing for a $150 gift card for any Teams that successfully completed the 321 mile challenge – on April 1. To be presented to the winner by DASH!
d. One $150 gift card for a Global Ambassador winner. This will go to the team that has the most participants from different states/countries. To be presented to the winner by DASH!

All Virtual 5K registrants can participate in the 321 Mile Team Challenge. | Run/Walk a total of 32.1 miles in the month of March! Submit your mileage on our official Results page. You can submit as many runs/walks as you like to reach your goal. All 32.1 Mile registrants can participate in the 321 Mile Team Challenge. |
Register for either the Virtual 5K or the 32.1 Mile Month, and get a free entry into the 321 Mile Team Challenge! BUT, you MUST enter your results into BOTH events! Visit our Virtual Results page to enter both challenges!

- There are NO refunds for this for any reason.
- All registrants are running at their own risk. Please abide by all safety, traffic, pedestrian and Covid regulations in your chosen run/walk course. There are NO supported courses for this race.
