My Story…
Greetings! Thanks for checking out my fundraising details page. DSA of Greater Charlotte is an incredible organization doing excellent work on behalf of children, youth, and families in our community. The mission and values of DSA of Greater Charlotte are near and dear to my heart.
I "dash" in honor of and in memory of my great-uncle, Jackie Lee Evans, and the legacy of acceptance, love, kindness, diversity, difference, and service he instilled in me - motivating, in many ways, my career path in social work.
I now have the privilege of teaching my son, Shuler, about Jackie's legacy and raising Shuler to embrace values and behaviors that are reflective of Jackie's legacy.
