Raise money for WCS Canada

Founded in 2004, WCS Canada (Wildlife Conservation Society Canada) is a registered Canadian charity affiliated with the global Wildlife Conservation Society. Celebrating 125 years in 2020, WCS is one of the world's oldest and most respected conservation organizations, now operating in over 60 countries.

Our mission is to save Canada's wildlife and wild places through science, conservation action, and inspiring people to value nature. Our programs focus on our country's wildest places – such as northern Ontario, northern British Columbia and Yukon, and the western Arctic - where the potential for lasting conservation gains is high, and on conservation science and policy important to protecting biodiversity in all regions of Canada.

We focus on protection of key Canadian species that are ecologically important and vulnerable to threats. Our scientists are experts in iconic wildlife species including caribou, bison, grizzly bears, wolverines, bats, river otters, freshwater fish, migratory birds, seals, and whales. Our aim is to understand through science-based field work what is happening to key Canadian species on the front lines of climate change and land use change from development, and to use the evidence gathered to build the case for what needs to be done to ensure healthy wildlife populations persist in a rapidly changing world.
