Our story…
During these crazy days of this pandemic, one thing I have learned, more then anything else... is that HOPE is exactly what gets us through the tough times.
HOPE.. and LOVE. Two very important pieces of a happy life that my mother believed. Even in the last few months, when her pain was immense, her health was failing and everything was going wrong... she would smile, she would look at me with such LOVE and always say "baby, any day on this side of the earth is a good day". She had a way of holding onto HOPE even in the darkness.
Her love continues to guide my path in so many ways. The HOPE she instilled in my daughter in those last few years and in me through my lifetime is what I now give. Her legacy runs deep and I cherish all the memories. They give me strength & power my HOPE, even in the darkest of days.
I am running this 5K in her honor. Help Hope Live was there for us when we were overwhelmed with medical debt. Today, I run to help others who need HOPE and HELP today. Allowing my moms infectious LOVE and her everlasting HOPE pay it forward. HOPE truly does travel!!!!!
