2023 SGE Shamrock Shuffle 5K
The Shamrock Shuffle was created 11 years ago to benefit the scholars of Shamrock Gardens Elementary. Shamrock Gardens is a Learning Immersion/Talent Development magnet school that serves scholars in Plaza Midwood, Country Club Heights and Plaza Shamrock, as well as scholars who enter through the magnet lottery.
Shamrock Gardens is evidence of what amazing things can happen when a community unites to support a school. The school serves scholars of many socio-economic backgrounds and continues to nurture a love of learning and provide a transformative education for all scholars. The funds generated by the Shamrock Shuffle will help support the vast needs of the scholars and teachers, as well as continue the strong relationship between the school and the surrounding communities.
The race takes place at 2pm at Midwood Park (2100 Wilhelmina Ave) on Sunday, March 12, 2023. We hope to see you there!
Note to parents: The 5K race is open to Shamrock scholars (and friends) to run for free, however they will not receive a race t-shirt and timing bib. Scholars must be registered for the 5K below to receive a t-shirt.
You can sign your scholar up for the free 5K or kids' races at the registration table on the day of the race, or you can complete the form that is sent home in Thursday folders.
