Help us raise money

For participating in Lisaard and Innisfree Hike for Hospice

Our story…

It's been nearly seven years now since our brother, Richard , passed away peacefully at the Lassard House. I still cannot express just how grateful my family and I were that the Lissard House welcomed Richard into their home. And that's just what it feels like, a home.

Richard was taken care of by the most kind people and every effort was made to ensure he was comfortable and that his needs were met. They even allowed us to host a little musical show with Richard’s favourite band.
The staff and volunteers were not only caring for Richard, they were taking care of the rest of us too. And for that we are forever thankful. We felt so very welcome and comfortable at the Lissard house, that, until someone walked by, we often forgot we weren't in fact in our own homes.

The Lissard House gave all of us the opportunity to enjoy a few moments of peace in the midst of a terribly heartbreaking time. We would like to continue to raise money so that other families, too, can have some peace. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
