14th Annual Forrest Spence 5K
The Forrest Spence 5K is returning in person on August 28th, 2021! This will be our 14th annual 5K, but our first ever race at the spectacular Shelby Farms. In-person attendance will be limited to 1,000 people, so be a part of history as we move to this new location and reserve your spot while you still can! Don’t just run, run to serve a family in need.
Tie Dye - A new and fun tradition!
A new and fun addition to the Forrest Spence 5k…tie dye of youth t-shirts. We will have 6 tie dye tables/stations set up so kids can tie dye their own race shirt. Remember to bring an extra shirt so they can tie dye their race shirt. We will provide all of the supplies along with volunteers helping out (definitely kids need adult supervision to accomplish this so please assist your child with their tie dying).
We will not be offering bouncy houses, dunk tanks or games this year due to Covid. We hope those will return in the future but we are thrilled to offer tie dye this year. Your child will LOVE tie dying their own shirt and will wear it proudly in the future.
Ghost Runner / Virtual Runner
Back again for 2021 is our Virtual Run option! If you are unable to join us in-person we would love to have you join us as a Ghost Runner / Virtual Runner. You can choose to have your packet mailed to you instead of having to attend a packet pickup during the registration process. All participants who post a virtual time will be entered into a drawing for 1 of 10 door prizes! Register today and join us in the supporting the Forrest Spence Fund.
