My Story…
You would never know but this cheerful, easy-going, handsome guy has a rare blood disorder for which there is no cure for yet. This is my nephew Jack. He was diagnosed with Diamond Blackfan Anemia when he was a baby. In addition to undergoing numerous medical procedures, he requires blood transfusions every three weeks.
This June I am participating in a 5 km Virtual Fun Run to raise awareness and money in hopes to one day find a cure for DBA. My goal is to raise $1000. You can register yourself for the run or make a donation. Register by March 31 and receive a free t-shirt and medal. There are raffle prizes to be won! Every dollar counts.
