Great Allegheny Passage Conservancy

The GAP Relay presented by UPMC Health Plan proudly benefits the Great Allegheny Passage Conservancy. This coalition of seven volunteer-driven trail organizations helps build, steward, maintain, and promote the Great Allegheny Passage. While not required, all GAP Relay teams are encouraged to donate $100 to the Great Allegheny Passage Conservancy as part of the registration process to help maintain the beautiful Great Allegheny Passage. 

The Great Allegheny Passage is diligently cared for and enjoyed by people from both urban and rural communities. Your gift to the Great Allegheny Passage Conservancy might help keep bridge decking in top condition, or be used to prevent washouts along steep hillsides.  It can orient first-time travelers to the joy of GAP day trips and overnighters.  It might show former railroad towns just the right bike-friendly ways to cater to cyclists.  It can help update wayfinding signage, so you can get right where you need to go on your next hike or long-distance run. Donations are tax-deductible.
