My Story…
In memory of Canoli
Canoli is just one of the many examples that embodies the essence of Save-A-Pet's no-kill mission. She came from an open-admissions facility and upon her arrival, it was discovered that she basically didn't have an anus. Save-A-Pet didn't give up on her and even though the odds were not in her favor, reconstructive surgery was performed.
I was then blessed to foster her for a brief period of time. She loved to play, she purred loudly ALL the time, got along with everyone and just wanted to be loved. It's sadly all in the past tense because in the end, we had to help sweet Canoli cross over the Rainbow Bridge.
Thanks to Save-A-Pet, she was provided with a special gift, being able to be a "regular" kitten....while my heart aches to hear her loud purr just one more time.
PS: Dream big....so we are going for $1,000!
May 29: Canoli is short $10 to reach her $1,000 goal. She knows we can do it...so we are going for an even higher goal, $1,500, because every dollar counts, every dollar makes a difference for a cat or a dog in need.
