The work that the MBCC does towards prevention, legislation, and research of Breast Cancer is near and dear to my heart. This work helps the our communities make strides in promoting a healthier future for all people. Go to the mbcc.org website. 

 Over the past 20 years, their work has inspired me to Swim in Against the Tide.

I swim in honor of the many women and men who have suffered through this devastating disease especially Heidi Lee, Sherri,  Susan, Wilma, my aunts, my sister and many many friends. I dedicate this day to Kathy B with much love and gratitude: Beautiful Lady you are!
