Sexual violence impacts us all. The pain is often reflected in the faces of the people you see every day at your job, in the community, and even within your family. Studies show that one in four women and one in six men are sexually abused by the age of 18.

For survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones, the effects often take them one step forward and two steps back, and it feels like an uphill battle. Each step, no matter how small it appears to the outside world, is a huge step on the healing journey.

As a Changemaker, lace up and help us inspire the community to be a Changemaker in action, one brave step at a time.

Here's how it works...

	Register for the Virtual Walk/Run. The cost is $30 and includes a gender-specific Brave Step Virtual Walk/Run shirt!
	Run, walk, or hike a 5K (3.1 miles) between May 17 and May 23, 2021.
	Submit your time into the Virtual Results. We'll even show you how to do it automatically with the ASICS Runkeeper™ Running Tracker App!
