My Story…
20 years ago I asked God to send me anywhere in the world for medical missions but not Haiti. He has a great sense of humor. The Lord honored my request and sent me to the Dominican Republic for my first medical mission trip where we cared for mostly Haitians! I continued to go back to the DR many times to serve. Finally I said yes to Him and went to Haiti in 2015 because God sent Dr. Rodney to my kitchen table who spoke into my heart. I was earnestly seeking the Lord’s direction of where to take students to experience and learn about another culture while sharing their gifts and talents. We were indeed blessed through these experiences with Bethesda Medical Center!
