BLUE JEAN MILE
Join us for the Blue Jean Mile! Follow in the footsteps of ASICS elite athlete Johnny Gregorek by throwing on your favorite pair of blue jeans and racing one mile in honor of mental health.
Last year, Gregorek became the fastest ever to run the Blue Jean Mile at 4:06.25, running to raise awareness and funds for the National Alliance on Mental Illness of NYC. Founded on the belief of Sound Mind, Sound Body™, ASICS is leaning into the work Gregorek started to elevate the importance of mental health and finding the ultimate balance.
Partnering with Race Roster, the virtual Blue Jean Mile is FREE to participate and will be open May 1 - 31, 2021 and you'll have the option to donate to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) during the race registration process.
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is a world-class research facility and Canada's largest mental health provider, providing care to upwards of 30,000 patients annually.
Want to try to break Johnny Gregorek's Blue Jean Mile record? See the official Blue Jean Mile rules from Citius Mag here.
