Hello everyone! Would you like to distract yourself from the existential dread of turning 22 by slowly walking and soliciting money from people for a good cause? Please say yes!! 

Alongside all that ^, Sanctuary is actually a very special community and home for a lot of people which makes it easy to care about this event. I'd recommend taking a glance at their blog. To support, you can join the team to walk/run for a "pay what you can" fee, or just donate as much as you'd like without running. Sharing the page w/ friends helps as well!

5k Run - record your time on the results page. Fastest runner and fastest runner under 17 win a prize!

10k Run - record your time on the results page. Fastest runner wins a prize!

5k walk/roll - send 1) a fun selfie from your walk/roll, 2) a picture of any wildlife you spot along your route or 3) your homemade run t-shirt to strides@sanctuarytoronto.ca for a chance to win a prize

When 

You can run, walk, or roll anytime between September 13th at 9:00am and September 18th at 11:30am and submit your times and picture entries all week long. You can also start at 10:00am on September 18th with our live stream countdown!
We will host a Grand Finale live stream at 12:00pm on September 18th to announce the winners and share our fundraising results!

Pay What You Can: We want everyone to be able to make strides with us! If the cost of a ticket is prohibitive for you, you can register using the "Pay What You Can" option. The ticket itself is free, but you can make a donation in the amount of your choice.
