The purpose of the Greater Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra is to:
•Combine the talents of student, community, pre-professional and professional musicians in a rigorous, artistically challenging and satisfying orchestral experience.
•Offer an annual series of innovatively programmed, high-quality, low-cost symphonic and pops concerts
•Further serve the community with special concerts, collaborations, and educational programs.
•Help cultivate new fine arts audiences.
