My Story…
Here we are. - year #9 - and the second year of a virtual event. I will walk 5KM one day in October - a nice crisp fall day - and you can support not just me, but Autism Ontario, to raise $25,000! The funds will be used to continue supporting children, teens and adults, and their families, with services and supports like webinars, family-friendly events (we hope in person soon!), research projects, advocacy efforts, educational tools and direct support in communities across Ontario.
We have a 28-year old son Matthew, who is severely affected by autism, so we know firsthand the importance of organizations like Autism Ontario who can have a profound impact on the lives of so many people.
Thank you!
Description
Autism Ontario has participated in the Toronto Scotiabank Charity Challenge since 2013, to raise funds for our work supporting over 135,000 Ontarians - of all ages - on the autism spectrum. Our participants represent our 'family' - Board Directors, parents, siblings, staff, volunteers, friends, professionals and autistic individuals. 100% of funds raised come directly to Autism Ontario, and it's easy to fundraise. Do something that makes you feel good!
The work we do helps all autistic individuals and families in their communities have access to meaningful supports, information, and connections so they are equitably and seamlessly supported across their life course. You are helping us make these a reality.
