Once again I am participating in the ScotiaBank Toronto Waterfront Marathon 5K to raise funds to support the refugees being sponsored by Islington United Church Refugee Committee. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
Description
Interested in changing the lives of others for the better in a direct and compelling way? The “Running and Walking for Refugees Team” at Islington United Church would love to have you join us. For 41 years we have sponsored refugee families and individuals worldwide. Over a 12-month period we provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment including accommodation, furnishings, clothing, food, transportation, medical care, education, employment opportunities and friendship.
