It’s been 2 years since the last live running race in Toronto, and while most of the distances are still virtual, they did manage to put together a live in-person 10K which is a good start and a hopeful sign of better things to come.
It’s just as well, as I am no where near marathon shape nowadays so I won’t be breaking any personal running records, but with your help I am hoping to break my personal fundraising record!
This year I decided to raise money for SickKids.
SickKids really doesn’t need any introduction. Anyone who is a parent has no doubt spent time there; some more than others.
We are lucky to have such a high quality children’s hospital right in our city, and they could use our support now more than ever.
Be a SickKids Warrior
The challenges the kids at SickKids face are some of the toughest: cancer, heart disease, cystic fibrosis. SickKids is always pushing the limits of what we can do for these children.
When you challenge yourself in a race, hike, hockey game, triathlon, you challenge your own limits. When you combine your fitness challenge with fundraising for SickKids, you become a SickKids Warrior. It’s a win for those kids - and the hospital that fights for them - when you fundraise on their behalf.
Why Become A SickKids Warrior?
