My Story…
I began working with UrbanPromise Toronto during the 2nd wave of our pandemic and being a part of this team helps me to see how much more needs to be done to support families who are disproportionately affected by covid and social inequities. Now in our 2nd Run for Promise we look forward to the good work that lies ahead.
The children and streetleaders are amazing and the possibilities are endless!! Thank you for your support as we commit to a 20 year relationship with a child. Reach a child, raise a leader and restore communities!!

Children living in Toronto Community Housing want what any kid wants...
>To be known, accepted and valued.
>To become just like their role models.
>To dream.
They're up against some tough realities...
>material poverty
>lack of resources
>destructive cycles
>broken families
>lure of drugs
>threat of violence
Which can make them feel unworthy, defeated, angry, hopeless.
BUT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE HOPE, AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW JESUS-THE AUTHOR OF HOPE ITSELF.
