My Story…
This is my Mission Possible. I really need you on my team to help me make it happen.
To celebrate my 65th birthday and to help raise much needed funds to provide the impoverished children living in the San Miguel, I am pledging to walk 65 Kilometers. If you could help support me I would very much appreciate it.
I know it's a stretch but with your support I´ll get those kilometers in and then some. Here are some examples of how much your support can help.
Your gift of $35 would pay the salary of the driver of the unit, who also works as the dental assistant, for one day.
A gift of $50 will pay the salary of the doctor or dentist for a day's work
A gift of $250 will pay the salary of the doctor or dentist for a week.
Every bit helps and I want to thank you for your support
51 years ago Patronato Pro Niños was founded and you can learn more by following our link
Founded in 1970, Patronato's mission is to provide medical, dental and psychological care for children and adolescents from economically deprived families in the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende. The Municipality, with a population of approximately 190,000 people, consists of over 500 communities outside of San Miguel proper. Most are remote and in many cases medical services are poor and dental services are non-existent.
Patronato owns its own office and clinic in San Miguel de Allende and provided more that 14,000 consultations to more than 9,2000 children in 2019. In 2020 the COVID pandemic shut down schools and businesses in Mexico, including all of Patronato's operations for 6 months.
In addition to the clinic Patronato operates five mobile dental or medical/dental units that visit rural communities in the Municipality.
Your donation goes a long way to helping us keep our services running and getting those very special children the support they need.
