My Story…
This is my 9th year of participation in the Marathon, and the only thing I can say is that my commitment is just as strong as the first year. Thanks to this wonderful annual Charity Challenge, we have been able to sustain and further enhance the high-quality care for our residents. The money we raise every year goes directly to quality care. The results of our fundraising are all around us such as shower chairs, overbed hospital tables in each room to name a few.
This year I am raising funds for the replacement of our 25-year-old air-conditioning and ventilation system, which will strengthen our prevention of COVID-19 and any other viruses in the future. I have made my donation, and I am asking you to join me in making a donation to the Care Centre, so that together with you we make a difference in the lives of our residents at the Care Centre!

The Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre is dedicated to serving the needs of seniors and meeting the demands of a growing senior population with care and compassion. We take care of frail seniors, faced with multiple health issues, including Alzheimer’s and other dementias. We run a social program for seniors from the community, helping them stay active and connected.
During this time of pandemic, your support will help us protect the lives of many seniors, helping them stay safe and connected.
