My Story…
This is my first year back participating in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon since my bi-lateral knee replacement surgery in December 2020. I'm really excited to be able to do the 5K walk again.
The Toronto Chamber Choir has survived the pandemic and is eagerly awaiting the day when we can gather to perform early music for our dedicated audience.
Please consider supporting me in this year's event in support of the Choir.
Many thanks.
Description
The Toronto Chamber Choir is a 40 voice amateur choir with a reputation for high quality, historically informed performances of Renaissance and Baroque music. Our Artistic Director, Lucas Harris has led us in exploring the rich cultural diversity of Toronto, and connected our music with topics ranging from architecture, cultural exchanges with China, the music of Moorish Spain, the medieval theory of humours, and the history and work of woman composers through the ages. The choir is also active in training young musicians from the Rosedale School of the Arts, and in providing performance opportunities for emerging professional musicians in Toronto.
