My Story…
Hi, my name is Jesús and I am 22 years old. I was one of the first to attend EEESMA. When I graduated from middle school (secundaria) a couple years ago, I decided to take a break from classes and work to earn money to help my mother. I learned wood working in EEESMA's Vocational Training Program and have been working for a local business making wooden puzzles. I have decided to come back to continue my education and am now enrolled in high school (preparatoria). My dream is to one day build a house of my own and to help other young deaf children learn sign language.
My #deafprideEEESMA team mates and I appreciate your help to raise funds to help purchase tablets for the younger students. Thank you!
