My Story…
Hi , many of you know that my family background is rooted in the deaf culture. My parents and other family members were deaf and many of the adults I knew growing up were deaf.
I am proud as a hearing person to continue to be a part of the deaf world.
I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity over the past couple of years to support Silent Voice in the great work that it does to provide support to the deaf community in Toronto and across the country .
These programs include: Community Support Services, Settlement Services, Parent Education Program, Family Communication Program, Saturday Program, Sports Program, Sign Language Summer Program (SLSP), including KODA camp (kids of Deaf adults), Infant Hearing Program, ASL Services, and Community Outreach including High School Graduation Kit.
I can't say enough about this great work that is provided by the agency.
If you want to know more check out the website at https://silentvoice.ca/ or just reach out to me.
Thanks !
