My Story…
As a Waldorf school alumnus and a new board member of Hesperus Village, I care deeply about the quality of life and care afforded to the residents of Hesperus. Hesperus provides more than just a roof overhead: it fosters a community which allows our seniors to live in community with dignity. The money raised through this fundraiser will help provide events and activities to residents, without which the mission of Hesperus would not be possible. Description
A rich cultural life, in its varied forms, enhances the health and lives of our residents. Social isolation is unfortunately very common for seniors. Together with our residents, we co-create an enlivened and rich social and cultural life to combat the isolation that some encounter due to physical or emotional challenges or even financial constraints. Your donation will fund the costs associated with organizing a series of social and cultural activities throughout the year.
