This year I will be participating in the Scotiabank Run and Charity Challenge for Gilda’s Club Toronto - a non-profit organization focused on supporting people facing the fear and uncertainty of a cancer diagnosis, personally or for a loved one. This virtual run event, along with fellow runners from the BCG Dream Team, will unite thousands of runners across Canada on a 5K/10K/half/full marathon run and a fundraising crusade.
I will be running the 10K & my personal goal is to raise over $500 and would really appreciate if you could support this cause by making a donation of any amount. Every little bit helps and has the power to change lives for the better.

Please support me as I participate in the Scotiabank Waterfront Run for Gilda's Club Greater Toronto who provides cancer support programs free of charge to adults, teens/children as well as their families who are experiencing cancer-related stress. Due to COVID-19, there has never been a more significant time to donate. This year’s event is crucial as those impacted by cancer need Gilda's Club now more than ever. Registrations for programs have increased by 59% since the onset of COVID-19. This pandemic, the forced isolation and extraordinary uncertainties have had a tremendous impact on Gilda's Club members who are living with and experiencing cancer related stress. By donating you will make it possible for cancer patients and their families to access and receive the support they need to relieve stress, reduce isolation & provide resources to help them through this increasingly difficult time. Funds raised will maintain the cancer support groups/programs as their team of licensed health professionals have modified these programs to virtual platforms. Thanks for helping to ensure that no one has to face cancer alone.
