This year will be my 9th year running at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront 5k, Half-Marathon and Marathon Charity Challenge to raise funds for Asian Community AIDS Services (ACAS) to support East and Southeast Asian settlers living with HIV and members of the 2SLGBTIQ+ communities.

As a queer Asian living with HIV and a former staff member of ACAS, I have been both a service user and a service provider of the agency, and can attest to the unique culturally-safe and linguistically-appropriate support this ethnocultural grassroots organization has provided to the local Asian Canadian settler community for the past 25 years.
