Help us raise money

For participating in 2021 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon

Making a difference by helping the children of Dekpor!

I'm happily participating in this event to raise funds for Dekpor School Development Organisation. Why do I like this charity? It is run by volunteers, their admin fees are minimal (0.75%), and they show me HOW the funds are used in rural Ghana. The money raised at this virtual STWM will go toward the food programme, emergency medical fund, and to pay the wages of the librarians, tutors, and classroom assistant. This is a charity with heart! Give generously and be amazed by the incredible IMPACT you make! Thank you for supporting me! *Please know that we are grateful for ANY amount given!

Description

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Dekpor School Development Organisation = hard-working volunteers improving: education, sanitation, clean water, nutrition, health, sponsorships, business start-ups, and crop diversity in rural Ghana.

Funds raised at this event are what allow us to run our food programme.  Breakfast and lunch are served to 150 students at school, but, gee, we'd love to add even more of the 1000 students to the list of recipients!

You, too, can be part of something wonderful and SEE your fundraising efforts actually MAKE a DIFFERENCE! Give generously.  Every single dollar truly helps!
