My Story…
I have been President of AWSN, the Alberta Women's Science Network, for just over a year now and I'm incredibly proud of the work we do. As an organization we focus on advocacy, networking and support for Alberta STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs that promote diversity and inclusion. Our three pillars - Recruitment, Retention and Recognition - guide our activities, providing under-represented populations support throughout their careers in STEM.
AWSN hosts WinSTEM Week annually and we're very excited that the Government of Alberta has declared October 10-16, 2021 as WinSTEM Week in Alberta!
