Our story…
In 2018 Dan was diagnosed with angiosarcoma in his foot. After his amputation he quickly returned to running-an important part of our family life. We were fortunate in that our insurance covered most of the cost of his running blade-but many insurance companies do not cover blades. This race helps support individuals and families that are not eligible for active prosthetics as well as providing funds for research and advocation.
