Our story…
Come walk with The Northen Lights to spread awareness and understanding about epilepsy and to help those who have it to be properly diagnosed, treated and supported.
We will meet at the back doors at Wortley Road Public School on Saturday September 25 and start our 2.5K walk through Wortley Village at 10am. If you are doing the longer walk/run (5K) you are welcome to start off with us or walk/run on your own. Covid-19 protocols will be followed and we ask that you social distance while we are all together.
You are encouraged to wear bright colours, glow sticks, etc. to represent the "Northern Lights". Purple is also the colour representing epilepsy so is another option.
