My Story…
I'm running 37 miles between August 1 - 22 to help Tommy Rivs celebrate his 37 birthday.
At the same time I was losing my Grama to cancer last year, I found out Tommy Rivs, my biggest running inspiration, was diagnosed with cancer.
"Cancer is hard. No one wins that fight. Some of us live and some of us die, but no one wins. No one "kicks cancer's ass." Cancer kicks anyone's ass it chooses. It is a ruthless, indiscriminate killer and a destroyer of lives. That doesn't mean we don't fight. Fight like hell.
