My Story…
Aloha Friends!!
We are excited to announce that we will be welcoming back in-person runners to JCYC’s SF Aloha Run at the beautiful Crissy Field on Sunday, October 17, 2021!!
The run will be a hybrid event – in person and also virtual from 10/17 – 10/24.
This year’s Run is titled “SF ALOHA RUN FOR SOLIDARITY” and is focused on bringing our communities together to stand in solidarity against hate and racism. This is a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to be a part of an uplifting and healthy activity which supports groups that are addressing critical equity and social justice issues.
The following outstanding beneficiaries exemplify solidarity through their work:
1) LYRIC Center for LGBTQQ+ Youth: https://lyric.org/
2) Tsuru for Solidarity: https://tsuruforsolidarity.org/about-us/
3) Hawaiian org: TBD
4) Thomatra Scott Scholarship Program: https://jcyc.org/thomatra-scott-scholarship-fund.htm
5) JCYC Scholarship Program: https://jcyc.org/3rd-annual-jcyc-scholarship-program.htm
*100% of the proceeds from this year’s Run will go towards these beneficiaries.
Once again I am hoping that you will help me raise funds for these wonderful beneficiaries ...and I hope to see some of you out there!!
With much, much gratitude - Julie
