My Story
Stand with me in fighting for unaccompanied and separated children facing deportation. I am grateful and inspired by people whom are doing the work to ensure the safety and best interests of these children.
My sister Birdie has started to work with this organization, The Young Center for immigrant children's rights, since march of this year. I am learning more about the impact of the unjust laws and policies that particularly affect unaccompanied and separated children. They are not treated as children as they should be. These separations are cruel, illegal and unnecessary.
Being born in the country is a privilege I also don't take for granted. Join us in raising funds to support the work The Young Center does so that the children can share this privilege with us. I invite you to check out the website and read about the story of how they started and how they are named after one of the first children they served, Young Zheng Sullivan.
