The Shamrock’n race weekend in Sacramento is very special to me. It’s the first half marathon I ever did, in 2017, and it was the race I ran just a day after being diagnosed with cancer in 2019. Shamrock’n raises funds for Triumph Cancer Foundation, which helps people regain strength and fitness after cancer treatment, free of charge to the survivors. I am an alumna of this amazing program.
