My Story…
#grim reefers
If you would have asked me, Michelle will you ever do a 5 k? I would have laughed. There are so many things I have not been able to do in the last 10 years. What I have done is: 3 time cancer survivor, 4 operations, chemo, 2 moves, 3 careers changes, a pandemic, years of pain management, weekly then monthly visits to the pain clinic in Cambridge hospital, sleepless nights, realizing my recovery is not normal and I would never do most of the things I loved again. 10 years later I am checking things off a bucket list that I never thought would be possible and this is one of them. This is the life lived by a cancer survivor. Thank you for reading my story please support, if you can't donate because I know how hard times are, then share or come and cheer.
In lieu of exercise you donate money, that's how this works! I do the work. Think of the kids, make a wish foundation.
Description
Donate today and help me transform lives, one wish at a time! For wish kids like Bennet!
Bennet is a seven-year-old boy who loves tacos, pizza, Lego, SpongeBob, bubble-gum ice cream, his PlayStation, the Toronto Maple Leafs, playing superheroes with his brother and all things outdoors like camping, fishing, hiking and gardening with his Dad. Bennett was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, which no child should ever have to face. When it came time to his wish, it was no surprise that Bennet picked a camping trailer. “I love camping and going on cool adventures, and it’s like a house” says Bennet. The most important part of his wish was spending time with his family. “We were all so overwhelmed as we watched Bennet head into his Wish Day! It went perfectly and Bennet was overcome with shock and joy!’ says wish mom Justine. “After going through a cancer diagnosis, treatment and now navigating the lifelong effects of the chemotherapy at such a young age, it was so exciting for Bennet and us to have the focus shift to something fun for our family! We love camping and the outdoors and receiving the trailer opened up so many doors for adventure in the years to come! We are so grateful for the joy and excitement this wish has provided for our family”.
